getting them to upload is not the problem. They upload just fine. However, when I want to select them, they are not available from the dropdown menu. Therefore, I cannot place them where I need them to go.

Hello,
right now Category & Page Icons plugin is not yet support clean installation of WordPress 3.0 The update and compatibility of this plugin have to come soon.

In your case you can try to upload icons using FTP to the folder wp-content/uploads/icons in a format name_of_icon-25×25.png , where 25×25 width and height saved at the settings page of plugin.

I am currently using WordPress 3.0
I have installed the plugin and tried uploading icons. After uploading icons, they don’t show up on any of the admin pages. It’s as if I never did an upload! However, if I ftp my site the icons are in the uploads folder.

I really need your help! How can i get this plug-in to work?!

Hello, Thank you for this wonderful plugin. It is exactly what I am looking for. But I have not been able to get it worked yet, every type of image files I uploaded (png, gif, jpg), they are all shown X and no images. Is it something I did wrong? I am trying to put icons next to categories in http://www.maimarket. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
